Bread Pug and Sleeping Beauty Lu

I don't understand it or know why, but Chavah and Emmie often use the term and call Scout, Bread Pug.

"For the First Time in Forever (or ever)," Emmie asked to go on an RV Trip. We snuck away to nearby, Lake MacBride. Upon sending pictures to Sarah, I pointed out that it was my child without a helmet (in this picture, not always) and holding the knife (never ending chocolate bar experiment, or alternatively, a geometry lesson). Emmie completed her schooling without complaint and in a more timely fashion than normal; I signed Chavah up as her accountability partner for next week and beyond. 

The girls slept in the RV in the driveway Friday evening. I taught them basic poker (using candy as nickels, dimes and quarters). I texted Sarah that Emmie's plan was to win us their new RV but I wasn't sure how we'd fit both in the driveway and she responded, "Come on kid, win us that hot tub."

Dad and Anna are hosting Emmie's 13th Birthday Party in Long Grove. They asked for a list of what she'd like at the party. Her cake request made us all chuckle, "frosting on 3/4 of it."

Happy Mother's Day / In Full Swing

I'd call it a Mother's Day miracle that I got the 3 grandchildren to cooperate for a picture (not Emmie's strong suit), but the reality is that they didn't know I was there.  :)
