Emmie: My stomach doesn't feel very well.
Mom: Probably because I caved at the grocery store.
Emmie: What does caved mean?
Mom: Remember when you whined about how much you wanted an AirHead? I knew that you had already had enough sugar today, but I gave in and let you have it anyway because I was tired of your whining.
Emmie: Yeah, I knew that I was annoying begging.
