Sunday night and while letting Piper and Banjo out:

Emmie:  If I get a dog, I want to name her Lu.

Mom:  Her?  Lou is traditionally a boy name.

Emmie:  No, there is a Lu that is a girl on Bunk'd, and there is a girl Lu in another show that I watch.

Monday morning and given Emmie's transition to wanting a JRT, I typed in:  Jack Russell Terrier Adoption Iowa.  The first picture that came up was of the cutest pup ever, located at a shelter in Clive, IA and already named Lu!

Emmie, "See I told you so (referencing Lu as a girl name)."

With dogs in the crowd, Emmie was entertained (and happy!).   Shaylee loves German Shepherds.....Emmie sent her this picture with the caption, "Jealous?"
