| Chose the tougher and unpopulated trail to Fern Lake. |

| SNOW! At the first sighting of hail from yesterday's storm, "Huh, someone littered ice." |

| Traversing back down the mountain. Didn't quite make it to the Fern Lake. 5.8 miles in total and back in the car just before the storm! We're in Estes Park now. Mom & Eric are busy working/recruiting. I get root beer, and ice cream! |
