Mom's Speech:

Happy Mother's Day and Happy Graduation!
To all, a worthy congratulation!

I must start with a few thank you's.
A toast is deserving, but we'll wait to raise our booze.
To the players, parents, administration, alums and all who support,
Our endeavors on and off the court!
Special mention to Molly, Doc Nau, Shaun, Coach Walter, Kathy, Anne and Shel,
Without them, we simply would not be well.

Personally, I must thank my parents, family, Molly, Natasha, and Kylie.
They help me to be all that I can be.
Emmie ensures that everyday is full of light,
And the great man behind it all, Eric, is my strength and might.

To our Senior Men and Women, you mean more to me than you will ever know,
It has been such a pleasure to watch you grow!

To the Senior Women, a few special words must be said.
Each of you are beautiful, inside and out, and as a graduate, now well read.

To Tam,
A fellow IIAC school called and is glad you're done.
Your overhead was not deemed fun.
On and off the court, you've always been All-Conference in my book.
That is now obvious to all with just one look.

To Amy,
A fellow Coach told me just last week,
they still did not know how to beat you, and thus, their chances were bleak.
You are a very tough out and one smart cookie,
I will cherish the many a word jokes we've shared since you were a rookie!

To Laura,
On court, the original racquet says it all,
you're a beast; you can ball!
You pushed for and wanted a sense of TEAM from the start,
your desire on this front came from the heart.
It wasn't easy, and the journey long,
but the sense of team is now quite strong.
That, my friend, is how you lead.
The thought of your absence fills me with dread.

To D,
A rap for the one and only,
I sincerely hope that you now see,
the fluidity on court, creativity, beauty and smile that bring the rest of us glee.
I am certain that you do since your head is now held high,
I couldn't be prouder in saying good-bye.

To all,
I love you, and look forward to Fall!
Excepting the fact that many in this room,
will be elsewhere as they continue to bloom

I will wrap this up since my voice is hoarse.
