Upon Emmie waking, and Mom trying to get a jump start on the day:
Mom: What do you want for dinner?
Emmie (already sarcastic): I didn't know it was dinner time. Did I really sleep that long?
Emmie started to tell us a joke, but then paused:
Emmie: You and 3 friends are hanging on a helicopter....wait, that doesn't make sense.
Mom: Why not?
Emmie: You don't have any friends. Burned!
Family Breakfast:
Eric: Pancakes are ready right now.
Emmie: I'm coming.
Eric: So is Christmas....at about the same rate.
Mom (laughing): That was good.
Emmie: At least I'm not as old as Christmas.
Eric: Are you talking about me?
Emmie: Yes
Mom (still laughing): That was good too.
While watching a documentary, it was said about the people of a land, "No one knows where they went." Emmie immediately retorted, "That's not true. They know."
