We didn't have formal work from the district, but Mom imposed daily requirements. The referenced show refers to an educational rendition. Emmie usually chose an Aerial America. We also watched America in Color (1920's-1960's) and various movies based on true stories. Quotes while watching: Show (referencing a disappeared population): No one knows where they went. Emmie: That's not true at all. THEY know where they went. Show (referenced a fault line) Emmie: Why don't they fix it? Mom (explains that the depth is to the Earth's core) Emmie: Me, goes there with hot glue gun (pretending to hold hot glue gun)....I can fix this! |

We picked up Emmie's materials from school. Mom chuckled at the additional details included in her schoolwork. |

Emmie had a periodic virtual class check-in. |
Mr. Brems played the following song at the beginning of each school day that Emmie enjoyed to the point that she requested it during their virtual class check in. He also had motivational quotes posted around the classroom (the kids hit a poster on their way into the classroom). Needless to say, Mom loved Mr. Brems as Emmie's teacher.
